Purpose of the Site
Indiana makes many jail, court, and public-record materials available, but the records are not held in one office. The Union County Sheriff's Office operates the Union County Jail for local custody. The Indiana Department of Correction has a separate locator for sentenced state prisoners. Federal and immigration custody use still different systems, including the Bureau of Prisons locator and the ICE detainee locator.
